Spring Concert 2024 - Over the Rainbow

This spring the Travelers Chorale, established in 1924, will be back at the Bushnell on Thursday, May 16th with another FREE concert to raise funds and obtain non-perishable food donations for local Hartford charities.

Along with the Manchester Symphony Orchestra, their voices will send you “Over the Rainbow” and the “Bridge Over Troubled Water”. American spirituals “900 Miles”, “Carry Me Home” will ensure “You’ll Never Walk Alone” while enjoying some of your favorite Broadway selections from Phantom of the Opera.

Whether it’s your first experience with us or one of many, we promise you will enjoy a great evening downtown in the Bushnell Mortensen Hall, on Thursday May 16th at 7:30 PM (doors open at 7 PM). Remember, admission and parking are FREE, and your nonperishable food donations are always welcome.

Directions to the Bushnell

The Bushnell is located at 166 Capitol Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut.

From I-91 North and Southbound

Take Capitol Area Exit 29A. Go straight to the rotary. Go halfway around rotary, and bear right onto Elm Street. Take first left onto West Street. Take right onto Capitol Avenue. The Bushnell is one block on the right.

From I-84 Eastbound

Take Capitol Avenue/Asylum Street Exit 48B. Bear right for Capitol Avenue. At light, turn left onto Capitol Avenue. The Bushnell is one block down on the left.

From I-84 Westbound

Take exit 50, Main Street. At 2nd traffic light, make left onto Main Street. At 10th traffic light, make right onto Capitol Avenue. The Bushnell is three blocks down on the right.
